Attention Bridesmaids! 03-06-06
Hey, girls! Here's the list of links to the dresses you can pick from. I want you to be comfortable, so choose something you can party in!
The color is truffle, which is basically a warm brown. Check the David's Bridal links to see the color. If you're sewing, use a satin-type fabric. Also, if you think you'll be cold, a shawl or shrug in the same color is fine.
If you prefer to sew, and you can use any variation:

I tried to give everyone enough options. If you see something else you like, take a picture, send me the link, etc. I'll probably say yes. But this will give you an idea of what I'm looking for...which is basically for everyone to look gorgeous.
Woodcut Pattern 03-06-06
This is the pattern for the woodcut my lovely sister Lene will be creating for the invitations and other stationery stuff for the wedding (ie. programs, thank you's, etc.). I'll probably be using brown ink on bone-white or ivory papers.

We Bought The Dress 02-18-06

Here she is! This is the dress! Woohoo!
Cedar's at the Mill Pond 01-22-06

This is the place! From the outside only, though, because I got so involved with talking to the chef and the event planner that I forgot to take inside pictures! The next time I go, which will be soon, I'll take pictures of the Watershed Room, which is where we want the reception. The ceremony will be outside, probably right by the arch.
Anyway, that's the newest...good menu options and they'll do the cake there. The cake flavoring is a surprise, but you guys know me well enough to guess...maybe!
A dress posting for the bridesmaids will be up soon, with buying and sewing options, to fulfill every possible type, style and budget.
Location 01-18-06
If you're interested in where we're planning to have the ceremony and reception, it will hopefully be at
Cedar's on the Mill Pond in Northford Village, North Branford, CT.
I am making the calls today and want to meet with them on Sunday, if at all possible. The food is great and it's a beautiful locale. I especially like the fireplaces in the middle of all the rooms and the stone floors. Really woodsy, earthy kind of place.
Welcome 01-18-06
It's less than nine months away and it's time to get in full gear! Yes, Lenny and Rose will be getting married, tentatively, October 1, 2006, and this page is where the wedding party can come to find out all the info.
I'm going to try to finalize the location this week and then, bridesmaids, rev your engines, because I have dresses! Well, the idea of dresses. Groomsmen, we'll figure you out soon!
